goggle eyes

I should have blogged about this a week ago when I bought my new glasses. I actually hate wearing these because I don't feel as pretty as I do when I am not. I know it's stupid, but this was my high school problem when I had crushes and I was also trying to fit in but I just thought I looked too nerdy. I don't have the same problems now of course, I just need to look as presentable as I can be during work. But wearing glasses really reminds me of all the problems I've had in high school. :(

Super taas na ng grado ko. Sigh. At least I won't get eye infections from contacts anymore.

Last Thursday though, I tried wearing eye makeup under them, and I looked a little better. My eyes get a lot smaller when I wear them and I really do look like a nerd.

Do you know how much these cost?? P4,500!!! And I actually bought a frame that was on sale na! My boyfriend was sweet enough to donate P500 so I would still have some money left for my everyday pamasahe and afternoon snacks :(. Having bought a condo, hundreds of pesos na lang tlaga ang natitira saken every time I need to pay for insurance or anything I need. Last night I imagined, what if I hadn't bought these glasses, I would actually have P4,500 cash right now. And a serious eye infection. :P
